where baby sleeps

is anyone having the baby in their room or beds at all or are u putting the bub in their own nursery straight away?

We're co-sleeping but only for a little while. She's just easier to take care of when I sleep with her in our bed. She's only slept in her crib once but I want to get her in there for good in a few weeks, I guess when she turns a month old I'll start doing that more. Her crib is in our room anyway so it's not a big deal lol she just won't sleep in it.

just wants to stay close to her mummy!
im going to do co-sleeping at first also.

How long do you think you'll do it for?

And getting her used to her crib is harder than I thought! I just tried putting her down next to me, not EVEN in her crib, and she woke up crying..

im not really sure yet.
at first i was thinking for only like 3 months but ive talked to a few mums who have done it till about 8 months n rekon their baby got used to the crib fine, im still a bit hesitant to co-sleep for too long thou coz i want the
bub to get used to his own room eventually, i guess il havta c how we go.
im mainly wana co sleep coz im goin 2 breast feed n think itl b easier fo rboth me n the baby if we co-sleep.
when Summer naps thru out the day does she nap in her crib or not?

Wyatt slept in his crib right away until he was about 9 months old.
He fell asleep in his crib too... Then... we started co-sleeping.
Now, I'm putting him back into his crib because co-sleeping is driving me nuts, lol! But, I have to put him to sleep in my bed, then transfer him into his crib.
I would say put him in his crib right away, just because I'm going through hell trying to get Wyatt usd to his crib... again!

Riley sleeps in her bassinet right beside my side of the bed =]
she is within reach while im laying down even so its as if she is sleeping right beside me,only she is more protected from me..cause i have lots of pains still and move ALOT her being in bed with me and daddy would be scary..
maybe sometimes when i nap alone and there is plenty of room for her.

Summy is starting to sleep her in own crib now! She still needs to fall asleep on our chests sometimes but I'm trying to get her in her crib more.

And Alyssa you'd be surprised how much your mommy instincts kick in with baby on the bed! Even Mike, he rolls around like nobody's business but he's never even touched her during the night.. I would know.. I'm usually awake LOL

arron stayed in my room till he was a yr old and henr jr stayed in my room till he was 9 months now they are both in a room together but its near my room so if either of them need me im right there
