How many of you changed bottles or other things because of the recent BPA scare? What did you have and what did you change to, if you did?

We have Evenflo bottles, and a couple Playtex bottles but all of them were BPA free, thank goodness. Although there is ONE Playtex drop-in bottle we have, and it is apparently BPA free for the drop-in but not the bottle itself, but I really don't know how often we'll be using drop-ins anyway, I'll probably never use it.

From google searching, and the company websites (like Gerber, Playtex, Evenflo, etc) have been putting out announcements and stuff about which of their bottles have it and which don't. Evenflo was never on the harmful list though, and I also read that if your bottles don't have the recycle triangles on the bottom or a number I think? Then they are fine.

i'll have to look..my bottles are kick *** though it was a package two big two small (at walmart or target) they are curved..it responds to the pressure the baby is giving..and releases the amount of milk needed and there a couple other cool things about it. evenflo is impressive so im glad to hear they arent on that bad list.

WB's bottles were bought back in 2006, and I haven't had a problem yet, so I didn't change bottles. Bad mom! LOL! But he only uses 2 bottles a day now, so honestly.. I'm just a bad, non-scared, mom! LOL

We got Medela, NUK & Avent. I'm pretty sure those are all ok.But recently I sitched to Parent's Choice bottles, and they are BPA free, and work quite well, and are a TON cheaper.
